Charles is the resident artist for Tyne Tees Television, and has been painting and demonstrating for many years. During this time, he has taught thousands of people to paint through his videos, books and stage shows. He also works with the Artist and Illustrator magazine, with whom he has his own monthly page, and also contributes articles for many other magazines. He is a demonstrator in watercolours for Daler-Rowney, and appears on their behalf at the major art shows ,as well as demonstrating for Art Profile at art societies throughout the UK
